We have a number of areas which are solemnised for civil wedding ceremonies, including our private dining room, pre-dinner drinks area and our restaurant. Our private dining room can accommodate a maximum number of 70 guests, seating for 50 and the rest standing. Our bar and pre-dinner drinks area is able to accommodate larger parties up to 120, seating for 80 and the rest standing.
We are able to accommodate 30 guests in our private dining room on 3 round tables and 70 guests for a sit down meal in our marquee, situated across a top table and 6 round tables.
We are licensed to host evening receptions for a maximum of 160 guests.
The Cock O' Barton is situated on the A534 Wrexham to Nantwich link road about 8 miles outside of Wrexham. We are approximately 12 miles from Chester and 1.5 miles off the A41. We are less than a mile from Carden Park Hotel. You can view a map of our location here.

We like to take the opportunity to see you many times before your big day. After you first make contact we can arrange to meet you for an initial chat and then work out all further meetings to suit your schedule.
For those of you who are spur of the moment or who have been let down by somewhere else we can always react very quickly to your situation. No matter your timescale we can help you pull off a well organised celebration.
To secure your wedding booking we ask for a £500.00 deposit. We will require a further £1000.00 to be paid three months prior to your wedding with the final balance paid seven days prior to the wedding day. Should your guest numbers decrease we are able to adjust your numbers with no charge as long as the reductions is made 10 working days prior to your wedding.
We are licensed to play live music umtil midnight.

We have a range of carefully selected wedding menus for you to choose from. These are very much a starting point and we welcome all your input to help us create the perfect menu for you. Our Chef is available to discuss any ideas you may have and vegetarian and other more specialist dietary requirements are always catered for.
